Starting Jan. 1, 2025, the documentation requirements for Telehealth services were updated to support mental/behavioral Telehealth services billing. To distinguish the mental/behavioral Telehealth services from other Telehealth services, a new encounter questionnaire replaces the previous Telehealth SmartText/SmartPhrase.
The Telemed questionnaire displays at the top of the Documentation and Rooming tabs on all Telehealth visits.
Additionally, a Visit Validation reminder prompts you to enter the necessary responses before closing the visit.
