With less than three days left in the 2024 State Employee Charitable Campaign, we are nearing $260,000 in contributions from 850 generous employees. THANK YOU to the amazing employees who have already provided support. The campaign, which is being spearheaded this year by the Employee Advisory Council (EAC) , closes on Nov. 22.
The SECC makes it easy for UTMB employees to contribute to causes THEY care about—there are hundreds of choices covering almost any interest or need. Contributions can be made online via payroll deduction, on paper, or by credit card.
Last year, Texas state employees contributed $4.5 million to help meet basic needs for families, support education, assist veterans, and fund countless community-based programs. UTMB contributed almost $340,000 to this total, making it the second-largest contributor in the state. We have many areas at the university doing an outstanding job garnering support.
