Austin Taylor's role as the Public Practice Coordinator for SPPH is to facilitate many of the external-facing partnerships and projects SPPH students, staff, and faculty may engage in. Austin came to SPPH from the nonprofit sector, where he worked in a systemic capacity to expand the capabilities of service providers across Galveston County. With a wide professional background as a social media marketer, language teacher, creative director, and performing artist, Austin seeks to leverage his broad portfolio of work to constantly expand the boundaries of the public health world to encompass those on the outskirts of our community. In his free time, he enjoys a plethora of nerdy hobbies as well as performing as a local musician.
