Dr. Wiltz-Beckham serves as the Assistant Dean for Professional Programs for the School of Public and Population Health at University of Texas Medical Branch. She is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Population Health and Health Disparities. 

With 30 years of experience as a public health practitioner and academic leader, Dr. Wiltz-Beckham has made a lasting impact in both fields. As Assistant Dean, she is deeply committed to investing in students' growth and success, believing that education is the foundation for a thriving public health workforce. She is passionate about mentoring students and thrives on guiding students through their academic journeys and preparing them for real-world challenges. Their collaborative approach fosters strong partnerships with colleagues; all aimed at developing the next generation of public health professionals.
