2022 National Public Health Week
National Public Health week is held annually during the first full week of April. Since 1995, the American Public Health Association has organized National Public Health Week to recognize the contributions of the public health and to bring awareness to current public health issues.
UTMB School of Public & Population Health joins APHA in observing National Public Health Week by hosting themed events Monday through Friday, with our Public Health Symposium being held Wednesday. During National Public Health Week, SPPH works with several community partners on, and off, the island to raise awareness about local public health issues as well as spotlighting organizations that work to combat these issues.
