Leslie received her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Health Promotion and Master of Public Health (MPH) in Global Health from Liberty University. She moved to Texas in 2017 for a job with UTMB's Department of Preventive Medicine & Community Health (what is now SPPH). In addition to working for SPPH, she is a DrPH student (ABD) at UTHealth Houston School of Public Health where she is studying Community Health Practice. Outside of work, Leslie enjoys going to the Houston Symphony, spending time with her husband and two rescue dogs, visiting local coffee shops and breweries, and watching documentaries.
