Vishnu Subrahmanyam (he/they) is a third-year PhD student at the Institute for Bioethics and Health Humanities. Vishnu’s interests converge around using critical HIV studies, feminist Science and Technology Studies (STS) approaches to biomedicine, and queer theories of love and forgiveness to study the social, ethical, and biopolitical dimensions of emergent HIV treatment and care adherence regimens. While HIV treatment adherence is central to their investigation, they have allied interests in disability studies and community engagement in biomedical research.
